Here’s what’s new! I’ve taken some display & meeting space in a wedding cooperative called “Your Celebration”, which is located at 8 Mountain Avenue (near the corner of Morris Avenue) in Springfield, NJ
I’m looking forward to meeting all of my current and future clients there!
As much as I love weddings, there are other types of photography that I truly enjoy. Corporate event photography can be challenging and rewarding as well.
So, here are some images that I was able to capture for one of my corporate client’s, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. It was held at the FDNY headquarters in New York and many of the top officers and the Fire commissioner were present to accept the grant. I’m happy to say that I’ve been involved with this company for two years and have seen them give grants to many of the NY/NJ/CT local fire companies.
This is a typical grant amount, earned by the firm Taylor & Taylor, that was presented to the FDNY through the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company Heritage program. The recipient this time was the FDNY High School. It’s a really great program that allows the insurance brokers and Fireman’s Fund a way to give back to local communities all across the country.

I was just so excited by this painting that my friend and artist did with this that I had to share…I just think it’s stunning! Check out the original below this and tell me that she’s not amazing!

Here are some of my favorites from Angela & Alfred’s wedding day. It was a wonderful day with a beautiful couple. We took advantage of the lovely setting at the Reeves-Reed arboretum in Summit to do a pre-ceremony portrait session for the bride & groom. Then on to the church and finally The Palace at Somerset
The couple had a beautiful, traditional ceremony at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church
Well, I was caught in the act!
It was a great day with a wonderful couple. So much fun!
The event was held at The Palace at Somerset Park. As usual, they did a fabulous job! Such a wonderful place to hold a special event.
It couldn’t have been a more perfect day! The weather was lovely, the setting was beautiful and the couple, family and friends were fabulous! What more could you ask?

I really love this sequence of ceremony photos. The range of emotion is always so wonderful to capture. There is nothing like a bride walking down the aisle to her groom. The anticipation and excitement were there, even though we did a full set of family pictures and a ketuba signing before the ceremony.
The bride & groom performed a wonderful first dance and the crowd roars with approval!
I love this shot of the back of Annie’s dress. The light coming through her veil couldn’t have been more perfect! It was a lovely moment when Annie was greeting some of her bridal party arriving at the house.
Sometimes, I actually do catch a bride putting on lipstick in a mirror…who would have thought it! I love this in sepia tone, looking a bit vintage, like the mirror.
What else but a girl with her shoes 
This is certainly a “man with a mission”, holding that very important pillow just so!
St. Rose is such a beautiful church with wonderful light. An unexpected storm developed during the ceremony, which caused a little concern but it was all over and on the way to dry by the time that the formals were finished at the church.
The couple then stole a little private time and took advantage of the rose garden in Millburn before joining family and friends at The Knoll Country Club. www.knollcc.com .
The day was a bit rainy but that didn’t dampen the spirits of this great couple! They had their wedding at The Picnic House in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY www.prospectpark.org . Even though it rained, we still were able to do some shots that captured the beauty of this area for the bride & groom. It was a special spot for Lauren & Leif.
Lauren was carrying a wonderful bunch of sunflowers, which just happen to be the first flowers that Leif gave to Lauren. I love that kind of special significance!
It was a beautiful day in May that started in Staten Island at the bride’s home and then went to Holy Spirit in Union for the ceremony. The reception was held at the beautiful Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, NJ www.brooklakecc.com.Â
We had a little time between the ceremony and the reception, so we took advantage of the opportunity to do some portraits at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit www.reeves-reedarboretum.org , NJ. The family joined them a bit later and we did the group photos as well.
I just love the grounds of the Reeves-Reed arboretum in Summit, NJ. Great place to do portraits.
Brooklake Country Club gives the couple a wonderful backdrop for their portraits. It was such a lovely day.
I really like this children’s portrait. They were clowning around as kids will do and Mom wanted a photo. Being a little “pictured-out” after the group formal pictures taken earlier, I asked them to give each other a hug and this was the result. Couldn’t have been better!

Jenna & Erik’s wedding was the first event to be held at The Stirling Ridge in Warren, NJ www.stirlingridgeevents.com.
We did all of the formals prior to the ceremony, so that they could go immediately into their cocktail hour without delay.
It was a wonderful celebration and a great party too!
This little guy practically ran down the aisle, whipping that pillow around as he went. Too cute!
I just love the movement here, as they were heading down the aisle.
I just love the way that Jenna’s dress is showcased here. It reminds me of something that might be seen in the movie, Lord of the Rings. A bit more modern of course and oh so elegant!

This was the opening event at The Stirling Ridge in Warren. The ballroom was pulled together and beautiful…just in the nick of time! It really was down to the wire but Jenna & Erik had complete confidence in Dan Goldblatt, the Catering Director and he didn’t let them down. It was a lovely event that seemed to be enjoyed by all.
